Christmas - Part II

We had a very mellow, quiet Christmas Eve this year - with family parties on the 23rd and the 25th. So, it was just the four of us -- with Teta P here to hang out -- and Uncle Donkey too, later in the evening.

Making a memory

During the holiday season, Kacie was obsessed with lights ("yites"). Every time we got in the car, day or night, she wanted to see "yites, yentas, and nomen" (lights, santas, and snowmen). It was her favorite thing ever. Daddy took Kacie to see the lights often; including several trips to Candy Cane Lane to see the lights. (I still can't believe how close we live to Candy Cane Lane -- where we used to go in high school because it was so cool!). On Christmas Eve, Mommy, Teta P and Kacie hopped in the car to go see the lights while Daddy finished making an amazing dinner.

It was a memorable evening. And a lot of fun. And she was so cute.
