Kacie Does the Diaper Dash

Last Sunday, we went down to Paso Robles for our annual Fun Day & Run trip. Neal and I have both run either the 5k or 10k (or sometimes both!) for the past 7 years - give or take. This year, Kacie got ot participate in the Diaper Dash. These pictures are from the race website. Here she is warming up!


Ok, this is classic. Kacie got out to an early lead and would have won the race had she not stopped to check out the scene - as Mom anticipated she would do! However, the ultimate winner was the boy just to her right who did NOT crawl but scooted his way to the finish line. Kacie was eventually 2nd; so, if you disqualify the winner for scooting, Kacie would get top honors. Ha. Either way, she made her daddy (and mommy) proud.
