Great day for Calvin

First, he came home excited that he had earned 5 Golden Grizzlies at school. He "clipped to red (the top of the chart) and clipped to and then past the teacher 2 times." Next, I had an empty shoebox and asked him if he wanted to do something with it. He comes out of his room about 20 minutes later with all of the contents of a "Lego kit" that he created (various Lego pieces and "instructions" he had cut, stapled and drawn on (step by step) to make a boat ramp). Then, he got to "lead" the group in Jiu Jitsu this afternoon! "Strength in the body, knowledge in the mind, and a no-quitting attitude." He worked hard and smiled the whole time. He and Brookie are hysterical! As he proclaimed on the way home, "Today was a great day!" A day to remember - proud of our boy! He is growing up. (So many emotions!!)
