Cousins' Weekend

Last weekend was the annual Polich family Cousins' Weekend. This year we included all the "Babas" and Djedo/Poohpah so it was actually a family campout. We drove up to Morro Bay on Friday afternoon (Calvin 8 days old) and stayed the night. Kacie and Daddy slept together in the tent and both of them had such a fun time. Mommy and Calvin went to Teta Joannie's house to sleep on a warm, comfortable bed. We spent the day on Saturday hanging out with the family at the campground and the beach and left about 8:45pm to start our trek home. It was a relatively smooth trip. We debated going but are so glad we did!

On the way up, we stopped for lunch at the playground.

Soon after we were back on the road, Kacie settled in for her nap (which was much shorter than usual but at least she got one!)

As we were leaving the playground, Calvin was bright-eyed and bushy tailed. Right. :)

For the most part, Calvin either slept in his car seat (in the car) or on Mommy (in the wrap) most of the weekend but he did spend a little time in Baba and Poohpah's tent trailer too.

Kacie with oldest cousin, Delaney. Delaney is Milena's daughter and was born 4/15/98 so she turned 11 this year. Milena is Poppo's oldest grandchild and is just over 10 years older than Mommy.
