It's always a nice treat to be able to stop at Teta Joan's (aka Baba Joannie's) house on our way to/from San Francisco/LA. We obviously won't be making that trip quite as often anymore (boo hoo) but Kacie and I stopped there for just a few hours on the way up this last time and spent the night on the way home. We got a chance to see the Hurdle girls both times too. On the way up, Kacie took her first 3 steps on her own (12/31) in an attempt to get to the little rocking chair. Unfortunately, we missed getting it on camera and despite additional attempts, she wasn't going to perform for the camera.
